Vegan Menu

Every item below is cross-checked against Costa's official Store Allergen Guide (27 Aug – 21 Oct 2026 edition) — nothing here is guessed. We found 31 items that are vegan as standard and 11 drinks that can be made vegan by swapping to a plant-based milk (oat, soya or coconut — just ask), across all 11 menu categories.

How we built this list

Two Kinds of “Vegan”

🌱Vegan as standard

Made with no animal products in the standard recipe — no milk swap needed. This includes black coffee, teas, fruit coolers, and a handful of bakery and food items.

🔧Vegan with plant milk

The standard recipe uses dairy milk, but Costa's own allergen data confirms the drink becomes vegan when made with oat, soya or coconut milk instead. Ask your barista for a plant-based milk — it may carry a small surcharge, which we haven't confirmed.

⚠️Not achievable as vegan — any milk

Hot Chocolate, Mocha and Iced Mocha cannot be made vegan, even with oat, soya or coconut milk. Costa's own allergen data shows milk present in every version of these three drinks, including the plant-milk ones — almost certainly from the chocolate sauce or powder itself, not the milk. Swapping to a plant-based milk does not fix it, so we're not listing them as vegan-with-plant-milk anywhere on this page. You'll also see this flagged directly next to each of them in the category tables below.

Some other drinks can't be made vegan even with a plant-based milk, because of a non-milk dairy ingredient elsewhere in the recipe (a sauce, a whipped topping, etc). We've documented that full list separately on our Milk & Dairy Alternatives page, sourced directly from Costa's guide.

A note on accuracy

Where This Data Comes From

Vegan suitability above is taken directly from Costa's own published Store Allergen Guide, which flags each item's dietary suitability and cross-contamination risk. Where an item isn't covered by that guide at all (a handful of branded snack products, plus Espresso on its own), we've left it unmarked rather than assume — check with staff or Costa's guide in-store for those.
