Coffee
Costa’s hot coffee range is built around the Mocha Italia blend — a combination of Arabica beans, prized for sweetness and aroma, and Robusta beans, which add body and crema. Every drink is made fresh to order by hand, not from a pre-mixed base. This page covers every hot coffee drink Costa currently offers, with real descriptions where we have them. We only publish calories and prices once independently verified — see our Calories & Nutrition and Allergens & Dietary pages for what’s already confirmed.
Coffee: Full Menu & Prices
| Drink | Description | Calories | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Maple Hazel Latte | A latte built for autumn: roasted hazelnut syrup and maple sauce stirred through espresso and steamed milk, then finished with whipped cream and a crushed biscuit topping for crunch. | 315 | Coming soon |
| Caramel Macchiato | Vanilla-sweetened steamed milk marked with a shot of espresso and traced with caramel sauce, added last so the coffee flavour builds as you drink rather than blending in from the first sip. | 101–129 | Coming soon |
| Spanish Latte | Espresso and steamed milk sweetened with condensed milk rather than syrup, giving it a denser, more caramelised sweetness than a standard latte. | 262 | £5.49 |
| Signature Latte | Costa’s standard latte: two shots of espresso balanced against steamed milk poured to a fine, close-textured foam, reliably smooth rather than showy. | 150 | £4.80 |
| LatteMost Popular | The espresso-to-milk ratio that built Costa’s reputation: Mocha Italia blend pulled as espresso, then topped with steamed milk for a mellow, everyday cup. | 146 | £4.40–4.70 |
| Cappuccino | Equal parts espresso, steamed milk and airy foam, dusted with chocolate. Lighter and more textured than a latte, with more of the espresso coming through. | 123 | £4.40 |
| Americano | Espresso lengthened with hot water rather than milk, so the coffee flavour stays upfront. Order it black, or ask for a dash of milk on the side. | 12 | £3.80 |
| Flat WhitePopular | A double-shot espresso base with steamed milk poured to a thinner, glossier microfoam than a cappuccino’s. Smaller than a latte, but noticeably stronger. | 135 | around £4.35 |
| Mocha | Espresso and steamed chocolate milk, topped with whipped cream. Closer to a treat than an everyday coffee, and one of the sweeter options on the menu. | 182 | £4.60 |
| Espresso | A single shot of Costa’s Mocha Italia blend, pulled short and strong. No milk, no syrup, and the cheapest drink on the menu. | 6 | around £1.95 |
| Cortado | Equal parts espresso and warm milk, with barely any foam. Stronger than a flat white, served in a smaller cup. | 65 | £3.70 |
Pricing & Sourcing Notes
Cup Sizes & Pricing
Costa offers four sizes: Small (8 fl oz), Medium (12 fl oz), Large (16 fl oz) and Extra Large (20 fl oz). Prices shown are for Medium. Small and Large typically cost differently, but we haven’t independently confirmed the exact difference yet — check in-store or via the Costa app for current size pricing. Milk alternatives (oat, soya or coconut — Costa’s guide doesn’t list an almond option) may also carry a small surcharge, which we haven’t confirmed. Not every drink can be made dairy-free with a swap, though — see our Milk & Dairy Alternatives guide for the full list.
Pricing Note
Prices shown are independent research, not official Costa pricing, and may vary by store. Calorie figures are taken from Costa’s own published nutrition guide where confirmed. Where you see ‘Coming soon’ instead of a number, it means we don’t yet have a reliable figure from either Costa’s own data or two independent sources agreeing — rather than publish a guess, we leave it blank until we can confirm it.
